"Four stars because we love Sal's but our server had sort of a "I don't want to be here" vibe. Barely a greeting. I paid cash, and she returned my change in a way that would force me to pay more than a 20% gratuity. I always tip at least 20%. All we ordered was drinks and one pizza and she wasn't very nice. Definitely not paying more than 20% for a bad attitude. I asked for change for a $5 to two of the other servers(because ours walked off and didn't come back) and couldn't get it. I just sat there waiting. So she got less than 20% which killed me to do, but I wasn't waiting just to be ignored. She was not a good server and I won't eat there if I go again and it's her."
"I love Sal’s. Very great salads and the garlic cheesy rolls are amazing. But they have turned the outdoor patio into a smoking section. I didn’t even know that was still a thing. And the flavor of garlic, cheese, marinara AND virginia slims just isn’t good eats :("
"Have not been here in awhile (since I moved away 12 years ago). Better than i remember. Great atmosphere. Easy to get to and lots of parking. Clean and great service by Meagan. She really made our visit top class. Had the chicken parm with fettuccine. Wonder if wonders, I asked for light sauce and guess what? They actually did this just right for me. Kudos! I am going to have come back during my next visit!"
"I hesitate to give a full 5 star because there is always just one or two things that were overlooked with I our online order to be picked up at the store. Albeit, there is a comment box to make special requests, and they promise to "pass ot on", Something gets lost along the journey. Also, there is always one (usually minor) thing forgotten.....could be the delicious rolls, could be that they did not blacken the salmon as requested, or no napkins, etc. Overall, food is always hot and delicious and the staff is friendly."
"I bought a Calzone from here and they made it exactly how I wanted it! I must say it's one of the best Calzone's I've ever had. They did an amazing job and I'd definitely return again and again. Make sure you're hungry when ordering the Small one it's huge! Yes the Small one."
