"The worst ever. Communication between teachers and parents is non existent. Emails and phone calls go un answered. You literally have to take off work and sit in the office for hours hoping that someone will have time to talk to you about your kid. The amount of violence and drug use going on on a DAILY basis is horrific. I legitimately worry for my son's safety every day. Dread my phone ringing during school hours. It's that bad and the staff turns their heads to avoid confrontation? Really? I'm not going to drop names, but I have had issues with at least a dozen teachers and other staff members. The only reason my son still attends this school is because I haven't been able to get a transfer approved yet."

"I'm very very upset with this school. I didn't even want to give it a one star. Tuesday evening I get a call from a fellow parent, that a Mr. Miller at Wekiva High School called him to say that My Daughter said we were pressing criminal charges against him for KIDNAPPING my daughter. My daughter never said this. I never said this. I go to the school on Wedsenday morning to find out what this rumor is about. Mr. Miller states that yes he did call this father over a 3 minute could conversation in the hall that THIS same student started. Without verifying facts. I tell him this is bad. This is very bad. That it needs to get solved today. These are harsh allegations to be making. Nothing gets done. I then drive to Ronald Blocker School to once again try to figure out why one of THIER DEANS would continue with a harsh rumor. They put me in touch with the CHIEF of High Schools Secretary. Who puts my on the phone with the principal. Who tells me on the phone, " That She Doesn't really know what's going on in her school". And that she will call me back. I'm still waiting for this phone call. I'm also still waiting for a call from someone at the school board. I feel very strongly about this. Maybe This Boy heard rumors from other students. ARE THEY GOING TO TAKE THIS SERIOUS IF SOMETHING SHOULD HAPPEN TO MY DAUGHTER FROM HER FELLOW PEERS AND THIS CHILD IS TRYING TO HELP HER. Furthermore what if criminal charges were being pressed. What let's tell my buddy so he can get his kid and run!!!! I also find it hard to believe that a Dean would continue a Rumor without getting all his facts. What if students retaliate against my daughter in defense of THIER friend. Then will the school and the school board care?. In today's society if any child comes to a Authoritive Figure at school with those kind of very serious allegations they should be taking it serious. What I was told was he was busy. He teaches after school. He stopped my daughter in the hallway to say he would talk to her TOMORROW. What. Why as the parent wasn't I notified right of way? That's serious allegations. I also find it hard to believe that this is coming 1 1/2 weeks after I go to the school to complain about a Teacher bullying my daughter. Then they bring me in a office with THIER " Security Gaurd " as I was first introduced. Then the Dean that processed the problem teacher, tells me she doesn't know what I'm talking about let me get her folder. Not True. The Friday before you and that teacher had no problem calling my daughter in your office and both of you verbally attack her. MY DAUGHTER WONT BE GOING TODAY. I CANT GET THE SCHOOL TO CALL ME BACK AND ENSURE HER SAFETY. MAYBE THE SCHOOL BOARD WILL SEE THIS AND DO THEIR JOBS AND GET BACK WITH A PARENT. THANK YOU ANDRAETTE GOODWIN"

"DO NOT LET YOUR SPECIAL NEEDS TEEN BE DESTROYED BY THIS SCHOOL. For each ESE student the school receives almost $30,000 from the state. Your ESE student will benefit from none of it. The ungrateful Neuro typical children get it all spent on them. Teachers are poorly qualified to teach ESE but do so for extra $$$. While the staff at Wekiva tried their hardest to destroy my son......They failed. The staff will remain in their miserable lives, that's as good as their lives will get at this getto school and my autistic son will continue to grow and be happy as we travel Europe. Not good bye Wekiva. Good riddance! Who is laughing now? Phoenix rocks!"

"Though the teachers are not always the best, they are pretty caring and willing to take the time to teach you. The students on the other hand are very obnoxious and hallways can get crowed. For the most part most of everyone's classes are in the 500 building making it the most crowded and hardest place to navigate. Yet you do get some cool experiences. It's a "ok" school yet not the greatest school."

"I had an absolutely horrible experience at this school, and I am so glad I graduated somewhere else. Students are rude, constantly getting in fights. Teachers don't care about the students, instead trying to preach and be judgemental. The old principal, Dr. Gruber, removed many of the senior privileges, and people lost hope of enjoying their time there. Lunches were always crowded, and kids discriminated against if they were poor or homeless. Do yourself a favor, and your children a favor, and do NOT send them to this ghetto piece of trash school!"
