"This school has lots of room for improvement but the management seems to keep dragging its feet about the issue and giving the same old lip service excuses. Teacher turnover seems to be a major issue as they have a problem with retaining good talent and some of the curriculum is highly questionable, such as "Arabic Language" classes for Pre-K students. In a state like Florida with over 80% of the population speaking Spanish, who's the genius that decided to waste time on a foreign language that has zero benefit to these students unless they all plan on relocating to the UAE to work on oil rigs? Also, there are some ongoing behavioral issues among the students that aren't being addressed by the school administrators, such as spitting and aggressive playground behavior like shoving. If I could go back in time, I'd choose another school for my child had I known all of the pre-existing issues with this one"
"We love Star Child Wekiva. We have gotten to know the staff and love them. I have 3 kids who attend this school and have been coming since they were babies. One is now in Kindergarten here. They take safety seriously which I appreciate. The curriculum is advanced my kids are ahead of most kids their age who do not attend this school."

"I love the curriculum at Star child. The teachers are great. I've never been a fan of big change and apparently neither is my son so when he switches classes or his friends get moved he gets sad but that's got to be with every daycare. Overall, we've had a great experience."
"Our daughter has been going to StarChild for two years now. Within the first two weeks, she learned sooo much! Colors, letters, numbers...I was truly amazed! Love that we can watch her grow in the classroom. She has transitioned to three classrooms as she's grown and she acclimates to her new teachers really well. The Academy is clean and everyone is very kind. The exterior door is secure with passcode and you are informed of your childs daily activities through the school's app, where you can also send messages directly to their teacher. Totally recommend this Academy!"
