"I come here pretty often. The food is good, but the portions have been awfully inconsistent. You just never know if you’re going to get a full sized bowl… I just came home, opened my to go bowl, and it’s about half (if not less) than what a regular sized bowl would normally. Just so disappointing, especially considering their prices. Not sure I will keep coming, just not worth it"
"The manager “Steven” is a top notch manager. Steven is an “ole school” young man. A man that puts customer service above all else. I walked in 30 minutes prior to closing. When I ordered the black forbidden rice. The server politely notified me that they were out of it. Seeing my disappointment she notified the manager “Steven”. Steven greeted me, apologized, and said “I’ll have some made for you promptly”. He let me know approximately how long it would take, and before I knew it I had a couple of the best bowls I’ve ever had from Bolay. As I waited Steven approached me and offered a $5.00 discount card for the inconvenience. I told him it was not necessary and that I was very appreciative that he was making a fresh batch of rice 30 minutes prior to closing. Of course he insisted and apologized for the 3rd time. I must say prior to this experience I was becoming less & less impressed with this particular location. I now visit on a regular basis as Steven has restored my confidence in the service, & quality & freshness of the food. Its such a pleasure to walk in and be greeted with his big, bright, “authentic” smile. Stevens great attitude and customer service shows in everyone of his employees. Steven is a special young man. We need more like him in the world today."
