"Update: We're now a year into the program and the changes have been phenomenal in our son. I would strongly recommend this program as it is professionally run. Our son has made great strides in exhibiting leadership among his peers, self-confidence both on and off the mat, and more self-discipline. We love StarMA and plan on keeping him in the program. Original post: We’ve tried several after school formats with my son in the past. He’s never been big on structured activities and always struggles a bit with the challenges at school. StarMA has given him a positive outlet for energy while generating self-discipline. The entire program is based around positive reinforcement instead of punitive actions. Kids are smart and typically have integrity when it really counts. StarMA gives the kids the chance to grow and develop skills that easily transfer to life. Learning these skills is invaluable and I’ve seen a difference in my son’s confidence level for sure. A great program that doesn’t require us sacrifice family time the way some sports are run!"
