"I miss my homeowners pizza from Stamford and now I get to share it w my Florida friends and family. I grew up in the original and was so pleasantly surprised to find that the sausage was brought in from Bridgeport and was just like I remembered. This is the only place I ever get onion on a pizza. My kids love hot oil. I was never a fan. If your looking for pizza, this is the place. Hands down. Thanks for bringing a little of Shippan to Tampa!!"
"Cool place to come when visiting Midtown to have a drink. Patio is dog friendly and servers are welcoming and pleasant. Pizza is just OK. For a spot that serves only pizza, you'd think it would come out faster. Took quite some time and just wasn't that good. Super oily, thin crust which is fine, just super hard and crunchy. Like it a little less rock hard and more NY style with more cheese."
"Sooo Colony Grill is a solid spot for a solo lunch. Their hot oil pizza topping, though simple, is quite tasty. The interior has a typical bar setup with ample seating. The staff was friendly and shared some background on the restaurant. It's a good place for casual outings with friends or catching a game. I ordered the Pizza with hot oil, pepperoni, and onions, and it hit the spot."
"This place is the real deal! If you’re looking for Connecticut style pizza, this is it. The hot oil is a must have- it adds a crazy good flavor to any pie with any toppings. The service is incredible and always friendly. Kelcie & Chelsey was a killer bartender and took excellent care of my friend and I. I highly recommend you stop in Midtown and grab a pie and a cold beer."
