"If I could leave zero stars i would! My daughter who has crohns went to the ER this morning at 10am in extreme pain. They did a CT scan and blood work and decided she had a bowel obstruction.(even though her bowels have been normal). They decided they were going to transfer her to a hospital in Sanford! (Not the first time they have done this) Then they told us she needed an NG tube to remove fluids and anything else in her stomach! This was attempted which was extremely traumatic for her and had it removed right away as she was in excruciating pain from it. She then was finally transferred at 9pm!! And lo and behold there is NO bowel obstruction!!!!!! Are you actually kidding me?!?!? Oh but wait the last time she was transferred by this hospital they told her she had appendicitis!! Nope not that either!!! Seriously my 3 year old grandson could diagnose better than this joke of a hospital! Beware going here you will likely end up dead"

"I took my husband here and by luck, the ER wasn't busy. He was immediately taken back by a nurse and within minutes the doctor came in and established the plan, and everything was taken care of in a pretty timely manner for us. I really want to give a shout out to the incredible ER team though. The security guards were great and so friendly. The whole nursing team (the only names I remember are Jacob and Shan but everyone else were amazing too). The nurses and support staff were all so friendly and accommodating and that is SO appreciated when you/your loved one is unwell."

"So I just had a baby in November and I cannot say it was the best experience. Normally I would be dreading to go to Parrish but the nurse staff for maternity was amazing. Ashley was the best nurse I've ever interacted with. Very attentive she heard all my concerns she helped with everything she made it feel like I wasn't a burden and all the nasty things that come with birth she made it completely normal. If you ever deliver a baby I would highly recommend her and Dr Naves. Parrish has a lot of things I need to fix but keep hiring nurses and doctors like them. With everything going on this world to have people who actually care makes world out of a difference. After delivery all the nurse stuff that work on that floor the lactate specialists everyone amazing job!!!"

"One star is too much. I am currently a "patient". I came here just before 9:30 pm on Thursday evening 12/7 (it's now 3 AM on Friday 12/8 as I write this). The waiting room wasn't full so I felt like it might not be TOO long. I expressed upper abdominal pain at a 9 out of 10, vomiting and shortness of breath. Was assured my pain would be taken care of and they would figure out what's up. It's been over 5 hours and I still haven't seen a doctor. When I asked the front desk staff for an ETA I was told one could not be provided. I asked if I left and called an ambulance if I'd have any priority in being treated because my pain was excruciating. I was told they'd bring me back to the same waiting room where I'd have to start the process over. They also advised that if it was something life threatening that I would be taken right back. If the doctor hasn't reviewed any of my info, who is determining what is life threatening? I've had 3 blood draws which I was told they're checking for heart damage. Not sure why we're checking for heart damage when I came in for my stomach. Is it because prolonged pain exposure can put stress on the heart? I was told on the second blood draw that there would be a 3rd two hours later. I still have not heard results of my other blood work or tests that have been done. I did have a nurse advise me that I have ovarian cysts but that my pain was too high up to be related. This was based off the results of my CT scan supposedly. That was also 2 hours ago and I've yet to see a doctor. Save your life and your sanity and just go the extra miles to a different hospital."

"Went in for a knee injury. We are new to the area and I was hesitate about being treated by the ER at Parrish because looking at reviews, it was not the best. I tend to disagree. I went in on Labor Day. We were in and out in less than 3 hours. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Both the guard and the triage nurse were very attentive and made sure I was comfortable. I didn't have to wait long before I was taken back. My husband and I were approached by a nurse and someone from admitting. Both were very professional and extremely nice. They did tell us their names and asked ours made sure I was comfortable etc but to be honest, I don't remember their names. The doctor was with me within a few minutes. Every one that we were in contact with made sure to explain what they were doing, made sure that I understood, made sure that I did or did not have questions, explained treatment and follow up. I was even taught to use crutches before leaving. Hopefully I don't have to return ever, but if need be, I wouldn't hesitate again. Everyone was very professional, extremely nice and caring and I felt very well taken care of."
