Pepe's Cantina Oviedo

"I had liked the tacos at the Winter Park location that I got my family to stop by at this location since we were close by. It is very spacious, nice decor, plenty of outside and inside seating and a bar area. Our server was nice, friendly, attentive and happy to answer any questions. Even when we had a bad food item, he took care of it. We ordered their margaritas with the popsicle (but they were out and told us after we ordered), ribeye steak tacos, carne asada, and camarones al mojo de ajo. Chips and salsa were tasty."

"The food was good! I had the fish ceviche and it was delicious. My husband had a meat and he was also satisfied. The only thing I would skip next time is the queso fundido. I was expecting a queso to eat with tortillas, however it was really hard to eat and super messy, the flavor was really good though, so worth for the flavor, but not really what I was expecting. It was melted cheese (which makes sense with the name) and paired really well with the Mexican chorizo. Tips for improvement: They did not bring a small plate to eat the tortillas with salsa, this should come as you bring the tortillas. they didn’t bring a plate with the appetizers, so I requested one, and they brought it just for me. The dessert drink was good, on point! Both servers that came to our table were nice . Overall a good experience :)"

"My husband and I had wonderful experience last night. It was first time there and we had been looking for a good Mexican restaurant since we moved here from Virginia. We differently will be back"

"So this wasn't our first time at Pepe's Cantina but it was our first time with Andy serving. He was remarkable! He went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was top notch. Never did our glasses of ice water go below half empty nor did we have to ask for more chips and salsa. We asked for to go boxes (not the cardboard kind) and he took our unfinished meals and placed them in the aluminum to go containers with our black beans in a separate plastic container. He placed both to go containers in a to go brown paper bag along with plastic silverware. He asked us if we wanted drinks to go which we happily obliged. He was just on top of it. Despite being busy on a Friday night, he still engaged in full conversations with us and was genuinely happy to be there at Pepe's. He was absolutely wonderful and we felt like tonight's service was a fine dining experience and therefore would have rated the service way over 5 stars. He should be nicknamed Amazing Andy. Of course, the food and margaritas were on point as always. We'll be back as always but we'll be asking for Andy."

"We went on a Saturday night and had a good time. We found the establishment very welcoming. We enjoyed the pop art lining the walls. The food was delicious. All 4 of us ordered something different to try a little bit of everything. The dinners came out quickly. My vegetarian XXL burrito came out a little cold, but management promptly took care of it and were very apologetic about it. I couldn't have asked for better costumer service. Our waiter was so friendly, attentive and funny. A friendly piece of advice... order the pitcher of margaritas... it's a better value. We are already looking forward to our next visit."
