The Cup Diner

"It’s not often that the hubby and I give a 5-star rating on food and service, but The Cup Diner in St.Cloud is very deserving of this honor. Talk about a hustling bustling place. We arrived and expected an extensive wait, but 15 minutes and we were seated and our happy waitress was immediately at our table taking our drink order. Our order consisted of The Big Frank breakfast special, which did not disappoint, with its skin on potatoes fried with onion and the fluffy biscuits and gravy stealing the show. The French toast was very yummy as well, and admirably priced at $8 for 3 generous pieces. Our waitress was friendly and fun, and although this Valentines day was a crazy busy day for the Old Diner, she made a point to come back several times To check on us. Great food! Great service! Great time!"

"At The Cup, you will not get some fancy culinary experience, which is not necessarily a negative. You'll get the friendliness and culinary traditions of a deep south country restaurant. The staff was accommodating of a party of seven, and it never felt like we were forgotten about. The menu is simple, and the kitchen is capable of producing quality but simple dishes. The Cup shines in its customer service. Dining at The Cup is a reminder that "southern hospitality" is real."

"There is something necessary about having a staple in our community. The name has changed but all else remains the same. Huge menu, great food and service and always busy. We ordered the Gyro platter and Roast Beef dinner. The gyro was loaded with meat and salad and was very tasty. The roast beef came with a great salad, potatoes and vegetables. Unfortunately, the gravy was way too salty. But that’s no reason not to come back. As packed as it was, the service was outstanding. These folks know how to handle a packed house. It’s been way to long since we’ve been here but that’s going to change."

"Fantastic home cooking. The wait staff is very polite and friendly. The food is always fresh and hot. Large portions. This is my go to breakfast place. Highly recommend visiting this great little diner in St. Cloud, Florida."

"Very quick and friendly service, which seems to be a norm in this area. It's a great change in pace from where I relocated from. I got the corned beef hash and French toast, which both came out well. I had their coffee as well, which was fine. My only wish, which was not their fault since it's what I ordered, is that the corned beef hash came standard with eggs because I come to find out it feels like something is missing with out them to accompany the dish. Nevertheless, good experience and I would certainly return. As busy as they were, I think they may have had the quickest turnaround from ordering to meal on the table of all restaurants i have visited so far."
