"Everything was wonderful! The manager Karen was so thorough and dedicated to ensuring we had a positive experience! This is one of the best hidden gems of Orlando! Soco is definitely a must visit when coming to the downtown Orlando area! From service to flavor palette, they have it going on! I will be back! And you should too!"

"My husband and I went here for his birthday and the food was better than expected. We had the Chicken & Dumplings for our appetizer and Soco Steak (Elk) and the Fresh Catch (White Tile Fish) for our entree. It was our first time trying Elk and Tile fish. It was delicious! The atmosphere was intimate and perfect for the occasion."

"You can tell all this food is made from scratch daily. Everything was so good!! I especially loved the Mac and cheese and the unique twist on a homemade biscuit with everything bagel seasoning."

"Nice gem of a restaurant in downtown Orlando. I made a reservation to host a small group. We were immediately seated for our reservation time. I love promptness! Our waiter was doing double duty as a bartender and waiter. Chase, the waiter, needs to be applauded for his attentiveness and vivid breakdown of the different items on the menu. He’s truly a gifted salesperson! The ambience was very warm and welcoming. I absolutely loved our entrees and wanted more of everything. The only thing I would recommend, if they gave a little more or the servings. Be generous lol!"

"TLDR: food looks much better than it tastes, very loud, disappointing Environment: loud, could not chat with my partner due to the drunk college girl section of the room increasing their volume each second in screams and count downs as they chugged their cocktails Service: lovely lady, server was sweet but very busy. Had to wait a long time to order and suffered a bit from lack of hydration as water was not plentiful. Would recommend management or hostess to help servers distribute water occasionally. Food: we ordered 2 drinks and 5 dishes. 90% disappointing. Please see below for specifics: Slow roasted BBQ pork belly biscuits with jalapeno jelly: good portion for a "small plate" but needed spice- overly sweet Chicken and dumplings- I'm not even sure we got the right meal, no chicken or dumplings to be found, overly lemony with a fishy taste, did not enjoy. Homestyle skillet hashbrowns- delicious, creamy, perfectly cooked potatoes, hot sauce or some other kind of spice would have made this dish perfect Fresh Buttermilk Biscuits and Gravy with Crispy Pork Belly: very rich, andouille gravy lacking the anticipated New Orleans flavor, biscuits were crispy in a very not-pleasing way Brunch burger: salty, fell apart in your hands from the sogginess of the entire thing, good brioche bun but quickly became impossible to eat as it developed into mush on the plate. Fries were delicious but the homemade ketchup was not- more like canned crushed tomatoes scooped into a dish. Cold brew coffee: we ordered chocolate and peanut butter, could not taste the flavors. We were brought more cream and it was okay, but simply not worth $6 each for the small portion and no refills Pineapple juice: lovely. Fresh and perfect Overall: This experience was sadly a disappointment by our excitement to finally taste Chef Richie's food, let down by the poor to average quality."
