"I wouldn’t even select a star if it was an option. SHANDS is a complete JOKE. do not come here if you are needing “emergency care” even though it is an emergency room. we were RUSHED here and have been here since 330 yesterday for kidney failure and water around a heart and we’re still sitting in the waiting room. was told we can’t lay down on the chairs. truly the worst experience of my life."

"The medical staff did a very good job, but the screening staff to enter with your sick family member was very rude, a lady who was in charge of checking the wallet to be able to enter the place treated me very rudely, what I understood was that she didn't like me He made me walk backwards three times with my wallet practically empty. He treated me rudely no matter how I was feeling. It seemed like a prison where I was entering, not a hospital, not even a drop of respect or sensitivity towards the patients' families."

"Doctors and staff are good and that’s about it. I’ve been in here a week and all the ever do to clean the rooms is maybe take out the trash. The food is gross. Not even enough portions for a baby to eat. If it comes warm you are lucky usually it’s ice cold. Most of the time you don’t even get what you ordered. Don’t even try to get another tray lol. Better off having someone bring you meals or you will starve"

"I will never forget the unpleasant experience I had in this hospital, I was waiting 15 hours, the care system is totally terrible, I arrived around 12:30 AM and a resident saw me at 9:00 am the next day and he had no I had no idea why I was there, so he repeated all the tests from the previous day. In the image that is going to be there was of a guy who arrived hours before me with his toe cut all over the floor covered in blood and it was not until 3 hours later that a nurse arrived to treat him right there in the waiting room. I was totally shocked by what I saw in this place."

"Good place to spend countless hours if homeless, cold, out in the rain. They have good strong fast wifi, charging outlets and soft chairs everywhere. You can lock the bathroom, they have hot water and blower dryer to warm up. If you feel the need for any reason the Emergency Room is right there. If you’re homeless, they take good care of you, no questions asked. Nobody bothers you if you just sit around and look busy. I would not try to sleep here unless you want a medical worker waking you asking if you need help. Remember to behave yourself and try to act somewhat normal, whatever that looks like."
