"My wife and I are staying at the Polynesian and we needed some food. The only place open at the time for what we wanted was Captain Cooks. Good choice on our part! For breakfast that day, she got the Mickey Waffles with bacon and I got the breakfast flatbread. Her waffles were fluffy and tasty and the bacon was your typical Disney bacon - thin and mediocre. My flatbread was tasty and loaded with toppings. For dinner, we decided on Captain Cooks again. I got both the Pan-Asian and the Asian style noodles and my wife got the cheeseburger with chips. I ate the Pan-Asian noodles and they were tasty for what they were and saved the Asian noodles for the next morning. My wife's burger was dry and mediocre, but it was a Disney cheeseburger - I'm not expecting much with that one. Overall, we'll be back. It is a great little restaurant and they have good noodles and flatbreads."

"Captain Cooks is one of my favorite things about staying at Disney’s Polynesian! They always have amazing plant based options (I’m vegan which is no dairy and egg). Their plant based bowl was actually served on a plate this time with a massive amount of Just Egg garnished with red peppers, a full sized plant based sausage, and fried potatoes. Service is always quick and efficient, but you can mobile order to save even more time. I love the refillable soda machine, too! They have two sections for indoor seating and even more outside on the patio- love the tropical ambiance!"

"Thai meatballs, pork nachos, pork sandwich. Relaxed outside with a snack meal. Yum. If you've not made it here for lunch or counter service, try it out. The Thai meatballs have a little spice to them. The pulled pork is family friendly to all tastes."

"Capt. Cook's is located on the first floor of the Polynesian resort at Disney World. It's great for a quick meal. They serve breakfast, and at 11 AM the menu changes for the lunch and dinner options. I had the Asian style noodle salad served with Honey- Miso dressing. I added shrimp for protein. The shrimp wasn't was my favorite, but the salad was light and refreshing, and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. My husband loved the Korean chicken bowl. The chicken tenders and fries my daughter ordered looked good. We liked how they had the condiments and different sauces available for you to help yourself. The prices were surprisingly very reasonable. Capt. Cook's also has a variety of pastries and other quick snacks readily available to purchase. We hope to come back and try the breakfast. The Mickey waffles looked amazing! Edit: We made it to Capt. Cook's for breakfast, and it deserves 5 stars! The Mickey waffles were plentiful served with a generous side of bacon. I added a side of breakfast potatoes to my order. Everything was delicious!"

"This is a good option for a fast bite to eat. Place is very busy during lunch hour and can get a bit packed. The serving sizes are generous for the price. We had a burger and the asian veggie noodles. Burger a bit salty but noodles cooked really well with lots of veggies. There are vegetarian options. They also have a little bakery section for cookies etc. inside seating is pretty limited but there is outdoor seating."
