Sea Castle Elementary School

"I usually don't leave reviews about schools, this my first time ever doing this, but i have to be honest. This school is Terrible! I can not wait for the upcoming school year to change my daughter school. I won't Ever send my child back to this school and I will not recommend anyone to send their child to this school. Most of the staff are not understanding or concerned about how the students are being treated by the teachers . If any of the staff or teachers are in the wrong they will not own up to their mistakes, they make exscues about everything . Have terrible attitude , don't want to listen and they try to talk over you . I only sent my child to this school bc it was closer to my house . I'm happy this school year is almost over bc I'm very disappointed in the staff and some of the teachers but of course they don't care . Some of them seem like they are there just for a paycheck some of them don't seem to really be there to help the students out stay away far away from this school oh yeah and they don't like to communicate !!!!"

"I have 4 kids that have all attended this school. We LOVE it!! The teachers that we have had are awesome. I am the type of mom that likes to stay in contact and need to be updated on HW and projects. I have had every single teacher personal cell number. they answer questions even at 8:30 at night. Very compassionate when my middle son was being tested for autism. Super helpful with 5th grade math ( I was LOST). now my youngest just joined this year. The media teacher Mr. Weinstein is such a joyful man. Mr. Rodriguez the principal is sooooo encouraging to all of the students. Thank you Sea Castle."

"This is a Great School! My grandson goes here. The teachers are great! They will meet with you at anytime for a parent teacher conference. He had Ms. Courtney for 2nd, Ms. Wes-Graves for 3rd and now has Ms. Manuel and Mr. Lee for 4th .Mr. Rodriquez, the principal has a hard of gold for the students. He's from the Bronx and had an immigrant parent. He experience challenges himself in school. My grandson started out in remedial classes for the last two years (third and fourth) he's in regular classes and doing well. He went to a school in Miami Lakes prior to attending here. The Miami Lakes school unfortunately focused on one demographics. My grandson started out in the headstart program when he was three. He has come a long way since the headstart program. Seacastle is making a big difference for him. He is passing every grade and his dream is to go to college and become an engineer. My daughter and I stay very involved with his school work. I have gone to a couple of parent teacher conferences with her. The teachers are very flexible with setting up a conference. We go to Open House, Stem Night and etc. This is an A rated school don't pass it up."

"Its a little better this year .. But the school has a couple issues.... that need to be resolved. , From teachers, cafeteria, to the principal. As we speak they do not have an assistant principal..they have a reading tutor as an active assistant p. And the principal doesnt return phone calls .. Teachers are not gifted certified. !!!! Kids are being bullied by blacks kids... And teachers allowing this.!!! Im glad this will be the last month for my child there. GB ALL THOSE LITTLE KIDS STAYING THERE. Good luck and good bye !"

"Sea castle is the best school ever it let us have parties the they teach us different things they get first second third fourth , and fifth grade ready for their next grade they have nice teachers and I'm very happy to be in this school"
