Coral Cove Elementary School

"As much as I have made Memory's in this Place there are a couple of Problems which my younger brother has told me 1. The New Principal has made Zone's for each class Every Grade in Recess meaning if there's a Student who has no Friends in his Class and all of his Friends are in other Class's then that means he can't enjoy time with them 2. 5th Grader's only have 10 minutes to eat as the New Principal made all Grade Lunch's together and It doesn't matter if you forgot to eat something or not you still Have to throw it out 3. One time a Kid started Bullying my brother and so one of his Friends saw and slapped the Kid to defend himself, The Teacher's and Staff treated my Brother and his Friend like they should be ashamed of themselves and then that Stupid Woman Ms Deathrage yelled at them thinking she's a Queen and then People looked at them in Disgust. 4. If there's someone Bullying you. You can't defend yourself, You have to Tell a Teacher or a Staff, What if they become Violent do you still have to tell them? 5. That annoying woman Ms. Perez never let's kids talk In lunch same with Ms. Deathrage by always turning the lights off In General this School has been Messed up ever Since Mr.Bullock left"

"I went to this school for all five years and i loved it, the teachers were excellent but the office staff is awful. the other students were good and the school was always well kept. they have a nice playground with a good music program. not five stars because of the awful front office staff and the occasional bad teacher."

"This new principal have done everything to damage this school there is no communication there is no help for kids there is no togetherness and to top it off the school is all chain up everywhere like the kids are in jail . The police officer will give u a ticket every week for the smallest thing dropping off and picking up your child is horrible just wish this school can be what it once was. Only REASON THERE IS ONE STAR IS BECAUSE I CANT POST WITHOUT."

"Worse school ever This school have allow my child to get bully by students and by teachers it's was an amazing school till this new principal zavan got there she don't care about the student nor the parents feelings. MY CHILD WAS BULLY SO MUCH THAT WILL NOT WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL AND NOTHING WAS DONE ABOUT IT. MY CHILD WILL SAY IM THE bad child of the class just heart breaKing to hear your child say this things. Principal not once help the situation and never even talk about the BULLYING THAT IS GOING ON IN THIS SCHOOL. As a parent we want the best for our kids so if you looking for a good school this is not it."

"Before this school year, I would've rated this school 5 stars but this year this school has gotten OUT OF HAND!!! If you want to deal with headaches and lack of interest on behalf of the Vice-Principal Mrs. Lee and the staff that once upon a time cared about students in this school, then this is the school for you! Mr. Bullock is an excellent principal however since the arrival of this vice-principal it seems that upon delegating responsibilities, sadly, he too has fallen asleep at the wheel! When it was just Mr. Bullock running the show along side Mr. Maisel things were under control! The school held more activities, the staff was more caring and involved, but as of late, SMH, this school has gotten GHETTO!!! I can't wait for June to get here so that we can finally find another school for our kids! Coral Cove Elementary shamefully is competing with the likes of Over Town schools! Very disappointed!!! I do hold however some teachers in high regards that still go above and beyond their call of duty and are EXCEPTIONAL teachers, Mrs. McLeod, Ms. Braton, Mrs. T. Escobar and Mrs. Della Pietra and Mrs. Lamoureux, fantastic teachers. Now with that being said BEWARE and GOD FORBID your child should have Mrs.Marimar Fernandez!!! Your child will surely regress rather than progress!!! If this teacher should cross your path, I invite you to challenge the principal and have him show you her student success rate, also questionable is her attendance. Even the lunch ladies attending the children have bad attitudes towards them, having witness first hand how they snatch items off children's tray and throw the items away in a bad manner. One lunch lady made the sad mistake of actually doing this to my child, without realizing that I was there to have lunch with him, when I asked if there was a problem and why did she snatch the yogurt off his tray, he has money for it, she said "oh no it's just that sometimes kids take things they won't eat". I clearly told her that "if he has money in his account and he chose the item, it was because he wanted it and to please not ever snatch anything from his tray again, I didn't appreciate it at all!" Plain and simple Coral Cove Elementary, SMH!!!"
