"If I could give a negative I would. They do not understand autistic kids at all here. They don't care. This is twice we brought our son here and this is twice they talk down to us like we're retarded. Both times they wanna be rude and act like their superior then everyone else. What a joke. It has a low star rating for a reason."

"I highly doubt these review get seen so I will contact the hospital as well. I went in yesterday to update my husband’s insurance because we got a rather large outstanding bill, and even though insurance was provided at the time of visit, they were never billed - the older lady at the window when I walked up and I said hello, she looked up at me, then my daughter and rolled her eyes at us, she did not even respond back to me with words. I told her the reason why I was there. She picked up a phone to call for somebody else, she slams the phone down and says well the girl you need to deal with isn’t picking up, you’ll have to come back or call back later and she went back looking at her Facebook on her tablet, I said excuse me, so you’re telling me that you can’t take the information & provide to her on my behalf? She looked up at me again, rolled her eyes with a very rude unprofessional tone and said “no that’s not my job”..!!! and then gave me a business card and put her head back down scrolling back at her tablet- at this point, I’m a little frustrated and I asked exactly what her job was because greeting previous patients in a polite manner clearly was not in her job description. She still refused to help me and wouldn’t even talk to me. Whoever this lady reports to seriously needs a talking to when it comes to assisting those who walk in that hospital up to that window!!!"

"I've never been told I couldn't leave until I had a driver come and pick me up...Maybe they should think about telling people this before they give them medicine...Because My mother is having to drive from an hour away in the middle of the night to come drive me 5 minutes down the road this is absurd and Really just blows my mind!!!! The Medical attention was satisfactory but the thoughtfulness of it being so late and having to wake my mother up just to come drive me home is well pretty inconsiderate...This has never happened before I'll know next time to ask in advance since some people don't think to ask ahead of time."

"The OBGYN day shift staff is horrible.They are racist, rude and very disrespectful. They falsely accused my daughter of having Covid and denied her visitors. The night shift staff was and is awesome. We love the night nurse Elaine. Elaine and the other nurse working with her made the stay pleasant. Day shift nurses will lock you out and won't let you back in. The day shift nursing staff is the worst. Thank you so much to Dr.Jamestteti(sorry if misspelled) and the doctor that assisted her. You women are awesome. The rest need to be fired."

"I will admit, I was nervous to bring my daughter into MCH, because of the reviews. We are from north Alabama and there was no where else to go. I’m glad we ended up going to MCH. The staff, the nurses and especially Dr. Lane were absolutely wonderful. Dr. Lane went above and beyond my expectations and made sure our baby girl went home taken care of."
