"My daughter attended this school and I have never been disappointed in my whole entire life. My daughter always came home dirty, food in her hair, soaked/soiled diapers. At times she even had poop stuck on her from not being changed in a timely manner. She was always left unattended and buckled up in chairs and swings for hours.  While the other children in their cribs, she would be the only one awake and the teachers kept her isolated and confined to a swing or chair where she couldn’t move . There were multiple teachers/caregivers that would be in the classroom that appeared to look like they did not want to be at work, they sit around nonchalantly talking amongst themselves and don’t interact with the kids. The teachers and director always asked to give my child Tylenol any time she cried assuming she was sick when all my daughter wanted to to be out and explore the classroom, she was always crying out of frustration from the constant movement of the swings that she was detained in hours at a time daily.  Miss Dawn and Melissa are the most unprofessional people,  they would tally up lies to cover up for each other. The two of them both had secret animosity against both  parents and employees and would take it out on the children. All  they did was GOSSIP like teenagers. I see why this school goes through so much different teachers, they don’t appreciate their employees who do put the effort, hard work and those who are dedicated to the children in their care. This school has had a marijuana smell issue going on for quite a while and the directors knew which teachers    who was coming in with the smell. They continued to  allow them to work everyday in the classroom around babies, even when parents complained. Only certain parents they chose  to accept complaints from and  take action “they felt” it was necessary. When I addressed concerns they were ignored and there were no changes whatsoever. In result, I kept my daughter home as much as possible when I had the chance to. This school is a charity case they pick certain families they want to benefit from, so they won’t take their kids out the school. Classrooms are always out of ratio. They don’t follow DCF rules, or do screenings on staff as required. You really don’t know on who you’re leaving child with.  The entire environment is TOXIC and it is ran by vindictive directors who continuously HARASS their employees and families."

"This school/center is the absolute worst. The children that attend this school are not being taken care off. They are being neglected, rejected, mistreated and abused in some cases by their caregiver and management. My granddaughter attended this school as an infant, she was neglected, rejected and left in the floor face down at 3 months while the teacher was sitting next to her not paying attention. There were times where she was left in the swing for hours without being fed, changed or even put in the crib to sleep properly. I even witnessed other classrooms covering the toddler’s head completely with a blanket while asleep. This can cause suffocation. The director did nothing when complaints were made. Teacher hit and abuse kids there and it is covered up instead of reported. They even mistreated and fired one of their good teachers because she did not conform to their behavior and reported the other teachers behavior. In addition, mistreated her infant child that was in her care. This place needs to be shutdown for good. Do NOT send your child here! DCF/social services really need to get involved before these children get serious injured or worse."

"This location needs to seek a new director for sure. Both Melissa and dawn. Just both big and messy and volunteer to lie on their "employees". This daycare sweeps a lot serious situations under the rug and need to be called out for it. Also Melissa or Dawn don't respond to my review . Nun yall big behinds can say."

"Best daycare Oviedo has to offer! Both our babies started there at three months old and stayed all the way until they began kindergarten. We were blessed with amazing teachers for both our kiddos. Our daughter is deaf and both the teachers and admin went above and beyond to accommodate her special needs. Star Child is family owned and operated. They have a clear dedication to providing a safe, high quality and fun learning environment for the kids. So grateful the Star Child family was a part of our lives for 7 years. They have left a special place in our hearts and lasting memories for our kiddos! ❤️"

"Starchild in Oviedo was amazing! My kids were so lucky to have this amazing basis for their educational adventures. I appreciated the academic focus and kind staff and teachers. My kids had so many cool field trips and assemblies. This school is a local gem! Also loved their summer program- amazing value and my kids were never bored!"
