3T Radiology and Research (Insite Radiology) 4515 Wiles Road, Coconut Creek, FL 33073

"I arrived at the office on 1/16/2024, I needed an x-ray; my doctor’s office referred me. I spoke to the young lady at the front desk, she explained that she would have verify my insurance and that would take approximately 15 to 20 minutes, then when she was done, I’d have to wait for the technician to go to his lunch, he doesn’t want to get in trouble for going late. Okay, I got it, nobody wanted to take care of me at the time. So, I asked, do you have another location, she said yes, I asked her if she knew their hours of operation, she said “no”. I said, are you able to call and find out, she said “no, I don’t have their phone numbers”. I showed her that she had the phone numbers posted on her copy machine, she said that she couldn’t call, she didn’t have time. So, I said, ok, why don’t I just make an appointment and come back, she said that even with an appointment, I would have to wait for others that walked in, to go before me; what the point of having an appointment? The x-ray tech walked out to the front desk so I asked him, would you be able to take me before you go to lunch? He said, I don’t know, I don’t want to get in trouble for not going to lunch on time. So, I thought, you don’t want to take me now, you don’t want to take me when you get back, I was willing to come back with an appointment. The end result, the tech took me in and the X-ray took all of LESS than 5 minutes, all the while he was reprimanding me about how I need to understand. He was so focused on telling me how I should have been thinking and understanding, I don’t know if the x-rays were done properly. All this to say, this was absolutely the worst decision I had ever made to come to this place to have an x-ray. I needed an MRI, but I left and made an appointment at Akumin. The customer service at this 3T place was atrocious. Every time I asked the front desk assistant anything, she would say, “I don’t know”, “I can’t do that”, or “no”."

"I showed up to my late afternoon scheduled appointment at 3T when fasting and was told the technician had to leave and had to reschedule. They never contacted me ahead of time out of curtesy to let me know about cancellation so I could eat and not miss out work. I strongly suggest other radiology centers who respect their clients."

Dr. Carl was very thorough and explained the procedure to me In a soothing manner and is excellent and getting veins. The entire process took about 30 minutes and I left with the disc in my hand and a smile on my face, you don’t see customer service and expertise like this in many places anymore."
