Terra-Fried Chicken

"This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at Terra Fried. I have been there plenty of times with my family, and have never had problems prior. This time around, one of my family members received a burger that came out medium rare, when she asked for medium well (a major, noticeable difference). We told our server about the bloody burger & bun, to which she took the burger back, and they put the same (already bitten) burger on the same grill that they make everyone else’s food. My family and I are all servers, (3/4 of us used to work in this very same restaurant -Terra fried) so we know the correct way that things should be done. After returning the same burger (now up-cooked) with the same bloody bun, we requested that we be given a different burger. We should have never received the same burger with the same bloody bun in the first place. The owner of Terra fried (now called “Champs”) refused to make us a different burger. She said the burger was cooked perfectly fine, and that she wasn’t making another one since her and her husband (the cook) agreed the burger looked perfectly fine. She also took the burger off the bill. My family never requested for the burger to be removed off the bill because we were still prepared to pay since we came to eat, but that did not happen. Our server also did not come back to serve us after this situation and said we gave her a hard time. The owner was very hostile. She was rude, and argued with us in front of other customers while refusing to make another burger. She got in my sisters face and told her how wrong she was for wanting a new burger. We will never step foot in that establishment again. -Side note: We LOVE Gail ! She checked that we were okay and wanted to ensure that our time there was pleasurable, but unfortunately because of the Owner it definitely was not. If I could post a negative review, I would."

"We stopped in and they were short handed but notified right away that it was gonna be a while. We were committed to stay. The fried chicken was amazing!! They ran out of Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes so I guess I have to go back. The guys had burgers and we were happy with them. We will go back! Loved the small town feel!!"

"This place is Awesome!! It’s like stepping back to 1965. Wait staff was great, Barbara was our server and she was the best!! The food was wonderful and the prices were reasonable. One of the best Chicken biscuits I’ve ever had. A classic old style diner, unfortunately there’s a For Sale sign in the window so it’s future is uncertain. I hope it continues on…..The location is in a derelict strip mall so it’s kinda hard to find it. But I’m definitely coming back when I’m in town!! Well worth a Visit if you’re hungry and in Arcadia."
