"I worked in the service industry for two decades… truthfully I’m not wowed too often. Tonight… I was wowed!! If there was an option for more than five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I would put it here. Categorically, hands down the BEST eating experience I have ever had in Sarasota. The small restaurant charm with the love and passion of all of Italy, that’s the best way to put it. Food was unreal, wine was amazing, and the service was unparalleled. 10 out of 10!"

"We had the most wonderful experience celebrating my husband’s birthday. 9 of us were treated like family. From the drinking of a variety of Italian wines to a specially created food experience by Chef Angelo. Lamb chops, branzino, pasta, mussels, artichokes, chicken…….each dish absolutely delicious!! To top it off, a tray of the most delectable desserts. Tomaso, our waiter didn’t skip a beat! He entertained us the entire night. We can’t wait to go back!! Try it. You’ll be glad you did."

"There is a new owner that took over this week so thought we would stop in tonight to check out the place!! Can you say WOW!! The food, staff, entire experience was wonderful. The chef/owner Angelo is such a kind man who I witnessed treating everyone who entered his restaurant like family. It was really refreshing to see. My family and I will certainly be back."

"This place is unique, the dishes are creative and have interesting twists to them; so if you are not the adventurous type and are looking for plain Italian, this place isn’t for you. But if you enjoy food, love wine and are open to Chef Frankie’s flair, you’ll fall in love. The food is excellent; I especially enjoyed the pasta, has a great chew to it. The bolognese was slow cooked for 8-hours, which made it tender and packed with flavor. The service by Daniel was exceptional. He is always moving and cares for his patrons. I will note that you’ll want to have plenty of time to eat when you come here. The dishes takes time to prepare and are of course cooked to order, so settle in and enjoy the company of the people you are with. The ambiance is ok. Knowing that they are new and just getting started, it’s understandable their money is not going into decor. But, there are some places you go to regardless of looks and this would be one of them. The food, service and chef make up for all of that, and then some. UPDATE: They’ve added mood lighting, so it’s coming along nicely. As for the price, you’re paying for the quality, and Chief’s years of expertise. Side note, the tiramisu looks so dense and nothing like the (American) traditional dessert, but once you taste it, it is the lightest and freshest thing ever! NOTE - I’ve since learned that Chef Frankie’s tiramisu is in the authentic Italian style."
