"My husband and I really enjoyed eating here. We went just last night. I have only ever eaten at maybe 3 German restaurants, but it felt relatively authentic. Loved how intimate the restaurant is, but it felt like home in that you can actually have a convo with your dinner guests. I can't remember the name of what I ordered, it was pretty good though. I really liked the side of German noodles. I could eat a whole bowl of those. We didn't order desert. I got the dark German beer on draft, it was great."
"Closest experience you will have without actually going to Germany. Ambience and food are perfectly authentic. Food was so good I forgot to photograph it before the plate was empty. Wonderful chocolate mousse and Gluheine also. Highly highly recommend!"
"Wonderful authentic German restaurant. Heidi runs the place and makes sure the food (and beer) is 100% authentic. Great humor and personal atmosphere. I had the Sauerbraten with Spätzle and it was awesome. Everyone in our party was happy with their food. Great gluten free options as well, which is not a given in the German cuisine. Five stars and I look forward to our next visit to Sarasota."
