"My husband and I live in Sarasota and have always looked forward to sharing meals at Skillets on Tamiami Trail. It is always our first choice for breakfast or lunch! The General Manager, Patricia, is so very kind, attentive, and friendly! She makes us feel welcome and appreciated on each visit! This restaurant is always clean, the food is excellent, and the bathrooms are spotless!! That is so important to us! The food is ALWAYS delicious, hot, when expected, and large portions! “Kindness and Positivity “ must be their Motto! Victoria did not disappoint since she is our fine Waitress today!!"
"First time in your restaurant, which by the way is beautiful! The food was fresh, came out fast! And the environment and staff were amazing! Victoria was our server and you can tell she enjoys her job, and is great at what she does! We will be back!"
"On a recent Saturday around noon, we decided to have a bite at Skillets. Greeted at the front desk by a so-so friendly hostess we chose to sit outside. We were one of two tables. A far less than friendly server came out almost immediately and asked us what we wanted to drink. “I can do that” she said and walked away. She brought the drinks out right away and asked us for our order. I asked for a few minutes to read over the menu. Ten minutes later I went inside to find our server and let her know we were ready to order and we did. A different server came out with our food (fairly quickly!) and he was super friendly and cheerful. The food was delicious and we both said the back of the house made up for the unhappy front of the house staff. I can’t say I’ll go back again as there are plenty of other options with a better vibe and atmosphere."
