NEAT: Best Bar Food Lounge in Sarasota

"Superior service, cool vibe, delicious food. The staff was outstanding. Met the owner, and other staff. Good people! We had a chicken Philly and a Buffalo chicken wrap. The homemade chips were great."

"Three of us had a very nice lunch here today. Our meals were perfect, well prepared and nicely served. Our server, Larissa, was excellent, friendly, attentive and efficient. Neat is more of a restaurant than a bar, with a separate and pleasant bar area. The menu is great, and we thought quite reasonable. And yes, although we live 20 miles away in Venice, we're already making plans to return."

"Eight of us went to Neat last night for my 50th birthday dinner. Ava was our server, and she did an excellent job. She was attentive and well trained enough to not interrupt asking questions during conversations. All 8 of us enjoyed our entire meal. The food was delicious! We met the owner at the end of the night and ensured him we’d be back. This restaurant is worth our 40 min. drive. They also had live music and the two performers were perfect for the atmosphere of this restaurant. It was a wonderful place to celebrate on a Sunday night."

"We popped in last night for dinner and were amazed at the transformation of the space from the previous tenant! The place looks great! We sat in the bar area but my wife has a voice condition and is not able to talk above the music. We decided to try another more quiet place. We were on our way out and the manager asked what was wrong and I explained my wife's condition and a second manager came up as I was explaining it. They offered to seat us in a private room! My wife was already outside so I declined their offer but was I was amazed by their offer to try and accommodate us! We will try to go back another time when the music isn't as loud because it looks great, the staff seemed great and we definitely wanted to try the food! I can't rate the food yet because we have not eaten there, but the staff and atmosphere are great and I hope that they are a sign of things to come for this area as the Sarasota Square Mall reconstruction project begins later this year. Give them a try, I am sure you will love it!"

"Coldest drinks at the hottest new bar in town! Maple Bacon Old Fashioned, White Cranberry Cosmo and Cappuccino Martini are some of our fave’s…. The free homemade chips and dip are also worth a visit all on their own. Ribs are perfection, along with burgers and mushroom truffle pasta. Looking forward to trying more off their diverse menu including a visit for brunch! Staff is all great, especially Marta and bartender’s Michaela & Chelsea. Lastly, one more reason to stop by is the amazing talent and selection of live music. Definitely visit NEAT as soon as possible, you won’t be disappointed."
