"Chef Lam was great. We had a good time talking with him and the others at the table."
"My friend and I went to Kobe on New Tampa. We sit at the bar and order food and drinks. It took one hour to get our food in the bar…they bring my salad 20 minutes after the food and the server said the kitchen forgot. On top of that, they added 18% gratuity…. I tell the server I’m not satisfy and don’t want to leave 18% gratuity. He said it’s added.. I said I’m not paying. He asked the manager. They remove the gratuity, the manager never comes to talk to us. No one cares…. There’s a big indifference and a sense of entitlement. If I’m happy with the service I tip 20-25%. No one is entitled to a gratuity…. The food and drinks were good. Service extremely marginal… Shame…."
"Mr. Nice guy was fantastic! Denise our waitress not so much! We ordered sushi and she never put the order in and then she acted like we were wrong and didn’t seem apologetic."

"Decent hibachi food overall. The absolute best thing was the portion size. Get ready for more food than you can handle in one sitting. The wait times seemed to be very long even on a Monday. Unfortunately the service was a bit slow and the steak was overcooked to a week done when it was ordered medium. Onion soup, fried rice, and noodles were great! Another positive was the cleanliness of both the restaurant and the bathrooms. The lighted and dimming mirrors in the restrooms were a nice touch."
