"Costumer service that is leagues above the rest. My sister and I came here for lunch on a weekday. We made an online reservation, which was super easy. We got the fried ravioli as an appetizer (I think it was a limited special), Cup and Char (round) pizza, Firebird (square) pizza, and Parmesan Truffle fries. The Ravioli were very good, tasty cheese filling, nice and crispy, good sauce, but a bit overpriced for like 6 or 7 ravioli. The pizzas were both excellent. Both crispy in different and delicious ways, Calabrian buffalo chicken was unique, parmesan ranch went really well with it and the green onions added the perfect amount of freshness. The Cup and Char pizza equally delicious, they got that slight char on the pepperoni that cupped up and added their flavorful fat that melted all over the pizza, light and crispy crust. The parmesan truffle fries unfortunately came out cold. They probably just messed up the timing with the pizzas, but we mentioned it to our server and he apologized and immediately took care of them. He had us a fresh batch in what couldn't have been more than 2 minutes, apologizing again. I was floored. The speed with which they took care of it was crazy. Braxton was our server and he was nothing less than stellar. I've seen plenty of reviews for their good service but even if the rest were just as good I'd ask to sit in Braxton's section every time if there was room. He was super professional, pleasant and friendly, extremely attentive (we were never in want for drink refills), and checked in after each item came out to make sure we were happy. On top of the aforementioned impressive resolution to our fries. He even thanked us several times before we left. Hats off to Forbici for not only their food, but excellent responses to problems, and outstanding service. Customer service is one of those things that can leave the most lasting impression. In my opinion, far more so than food taste or quality. I'll long be sharing my experience with Forbici and specifically our stellar server Braxton."

"I’ve been hiding under a rock because it’s taken me so long to try this place out for brunch! First time trying Forbici out and it was great. Easy to book a reservation time online, recommended during busy weekends. Went during Sunday brunch during the Fresh Market time so it was quite full when we arrived at 11:45 AM already. The space is bright and open with lots of seating throughout, some at high top tables, others in more formal tables or spaces outside. Our server/bartender Joel was quick to reach us with waters and to answer our questions about the menu since it was our first time there. He was awesome in following up with us as our dishes came out. The food was delicious, I think everything came out perfectly for both my friend and me. We split our rice croquettes (suppli) as our starter and it was crispy on the outside and deliciously tender and gooey on the inside. My friend got a yummy standard Caesar with grilled chicken and I got the blackened shrimp bowl (brunch menu). I’m a big fan of the seasoning in the sauce topping shrimp and polenta. It was creamy and smokey and was the perfect amount for the bowl. For my drink for the meal, I got a gimlet which was so refreshing and packed a punch! Looking forward to trying other items on the menu. Parking available in the garages of Hyde Park Village, be wary of high traffic times like weekends or during events (like Fresh Market)."

"Great dinner or brunch option in the Hyde park area The food portions are reasonable and so are the price The pastas are made fresh and has a lot of flavor and the quality of the chickens are fresh and juicy We tried the Menstroni soup , mussels and two dishes of pasta We also had a side of truffle fries ! Definitely planning to be back there."

"Wow, just wow. Amazing food, server and dining experience. Husband and I dined with another couple at one of the outdoor tables. They have an absolutely fabulous happy hour that we thoroughly enjoyed. We had the calamari app and meatball app. Husband and I split the wedge salad which was delicious and 3 of us had the charred cup pepperoni slice as our dinner (another happy hour special). Mercedes was our server and she was awesome. She kept checking on us, made sure we had our water and wine as needed and we never felt rushed. They have a very generous wine pour, even more so when they brought a carafe as our second and third glasses. We had gelato and cappuccinos for dessert which I highly recommend as well. We were there on a Tuesday night and there was a musician at the bar that was pretty good as well. Can’t wait to come again."

"Absolutely loved this place. I wasn't expecting the pizzas to be so incredible! The atmosphere was fun and vibrant with sassy decor and live music. I was there with a group of 9 for a birthday, and our server was prompt, friendly, and accommodating. I look forward to back for the pizza, but everything we ordered was delicious."
