"Best swordfish I have ever had. Outstanding onion soup. Very good service. But for the price of the entrees [very pricey] there are several small things that really should be better. Water glasses were spotted. Ither tables were left alone for a long time after that party left.. ates should have been warmed.. Unless you had a window, the atmosphere was just so so. But the food was awesome."

"Wonderful meal, we had the Rusty Pelican board for two. Just an amazing presentation. The only thing I would change would be to add tongs or a large spoon to make sharing easier. Also, enjoyed the bread and crab cake as an appetizer. Our waiter Julian was super. It was very busy and we never felt forgotten. If you have room for dessert order the chocolate lava cake with ice cream…delicious! Can’t wait to return."

"I love the spectacular view. This was my first time here for brunch. I had conch fritters and chicken and waffles. The fritters were not what I expected. This was my first time having conch and I didn't expect the rubbery gristle like texture. I loved the slaw that came with it. The chicken and waffles were just OK. It was hot and fresh just lacked seasoning on the chicken. The waffles were a basic waffle. There was nothing impressive about the food."

"We've been here twice before in the past, and the food was delicious. We went the other night for my birthday and we left kind of disappointed. First off, the drinks we had were great and the bread was different, but I'd eat that anytime ! It was cornbread with a cake-like texture , with butter and a spice mix on the side so you can add however much you want. We got the beef carpaccio for an appetizer and oh my God I almost cried. I'm going to dream about that forever! Now the entrees. My SO got the Snapper. The way it tasted.. it was reminiscent of reheated fried food. It didn't taste like there was much seasoning on it . The orzo seemed too sweet and didn't really blend well with everything else on the plate. I had the salmon and had it stuffed with crab . Everything was cooked fine, but overall it felt pretty lackluster in flavor. I asked our waitress for some salt which I rarely ever do. Maybe they were having an off night in the back. All things considered we'll probably try coming back here again, but not anytime soon."

"What an absolutely gorgeous restaurant and impeccable experience we had at the Rusty Pelican! Pedro was just the best server and we felt like we’d known him forever! He recommended several different things, all of which were delicious. We had the conch fritters, the dinner for 2, and the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The wine options were great as well! We can’t wait to go back and try other things and we will request Pedro again, too! Highly, highly recommend this restaurant!"
