KOGI GRILL (LARGO)

"I have loved Kogi since they opened. We go atleast every two weeks. I refuse to get the chicken bowl though because there is always so much gristle in it. If it were just a few pieces, no big deal, but it's so much! I used to always get the chicken bowl and no issues. I don't know if they switched chicken providers, but the chicken now is gross. I swapped to spicy pork bowls for the last year but decided to try a chicken bowl this week. Nope, still tons of gristle. Find a different chicken provider please, this quality is awful!"

"We've ordered here several times. Usually pretty good, portions decent. Not today. 4 kogi bowls. 3 had barely any salad mix. I mean barely any! Mine had 2 tiny pieces of purple cabbage and no other salad mix other than a few pieces of green onion. Hardly any chicken on 2 of the 3 chicken bowls. The 4th was beef. Same thing with very little salad. You can do better Kogi! UPDATE: Kogi reached out and resolved the issue. Thank you for your professionalism. ❤️"

"Staff was friendly and while they took an order my son and I ordered and paid at the square kiosk. Got our drinks and sat down. It's a grill/sandwich shop vibe but dining room was clean and bright. We each got bowls of our choice and some bulkogi fries. Their menu is Korean with Florida flair. Not traditional but tasty, fresh and original. I ordered kimchi as an add on to my dish and it comes in portion cups like you get with salsa or jalapenos. Was a great experience for my son and I and we will be back."

"I am very sad to say that we were extremely let down by Kogi Grill. After getting this place recommended to us over and over again, we finally had to try it out. The woman at the counter was very kind. They were extremely busy and she was handling it well. It was very dingy inside, but exactly what you would expect for a place like this. You are not coming here for ambiance, you are coming for what is supposed to be great food. We ordered a large spicy pork kogi bowl and a large beef kogi bowl. Both with a sunny-side-up egg added on top. The flavors of the meat were definitely there, but the meat was extremely dry, chewy, and clearly very low quality. Dry meat over bland rice. Not very enjoyable. The egg on top was each bowl’s only saving grace, and one yolk was broken. Needless to say, we were very displeased with Kogi Grill, and it seems to be quite overhyped. On a slower day, we might try this eatery again. Perhaps we tried it at a bad time. We wanted to love this place, especially with how convenient it is for us, but Kogi Grill did not hit the mark at all…"

"A simple and quick place to enjoy korean flavors without skimping on quality. Their housemade spicy mayo sauce is super delicious and pairs well with their signature bowls and tacos. Definitely scratches an itch when you want quick and delicious korean-style food. Humble location, but worth checking out."
