"Once upon a time, I ate here and the food/ drinks were outstanding. I am not sure what happened, but so much of the food now tastes premade. The croutons on salads are straight out of a Great Value box. The salad dressing tastes like the cook took the path of least resistance. The grilled shrimp were better. Fresh and well grilled. Definitely the highlight. I watched my bartender make my margarita. She used top shelf tequila but poured some limeade looking juice in it. It was neon green. This is in stark contrast to the amazing margarita that I had the first time I was here 2 years ago. (Ownership change?) The people are really nice. They are the best part of the experience. This feels like a management or owner problem. just know what you are getting from the food and drinks in advance. Underwhelming is the word that comes to mind."

"We ate here with a party of 11. We had to wait an hour and a half. There are some beach stores you can visit while you wait so it's not that bad. There isn't much seating inside so that makes sense to why the long wait. We got an Ahi Tuna Stack as an app and it was very good. I got the Mango Salmon with green beans and it was awesome. The wife got the Shrimp and scallops w/risotto and she loved it as well. The food didn't take too long to come and the service was good. Would def recommend Hurricane Hanks! "First time. Went based on reviews. This place did not disappoint. It has a strip mall appearance but inside you will find a hidden gem of friendly staff, a lot of locals and great food. It is clear this establishment pays attention to quality and portion. Everything we ordered surpassed our expectations. The prices are, based on my few meals on the island thus far, amazingly low/reasonable. We have had dinner out 3 nights in a row with a family of 5, including two hungry teenagers and our meal here had more food and costs much less. The chicken fingers are off the hook. I know, chicken fingers...but these aren't your dive bar chicken fingers. They are HUGE and juicy. Burrata peach salad is crazy good. Potato skins are great. Can't say enough. Will be back if ever in the area again."
