The Cowfish® Sushi Burger Bar

"I eat here every. Single. Time. I come to Universal. I love sitting at the bar and enjoying their delicious cocktails and sushi. The bar is first come first serve. If you want to sit at a table, you must have a reservation. The sushi and burgers here are sooooo good. Will definitely be coming back."

"It’s a 2.5 star place at best. First of all, I love sushi and beef and eat them both regularly. Unfortunately this place dropped the ball. We got two appetizers and two rolls. The first appetizer was the spicy poke dip. I almost left without eating it. It didn’t smell flesh and was a grey color that I’ve never seen with poke. Raw fish should not smell fishy and this did. My wife ate it so I didn’t send it back. Second appetizer was the Big Al’s Yellowtail. That was the best thing we ate. Fresh, odorless, delicious. The two rolls we got were not good either. More closer to a supermarket sushi roll. Definitely not worth the $95 I paid. We sat at the bar also and although it wasn’t busy (lunch time) and there was many servers our stacked dirty dishes sat in front of us for about 10 minutes before they decided to pick them up even though they looked at them several times. We won’t be back and would highly recommend skipping this place if you want quality."

"Found this restaurant to be the best we’ve had in the resort. Sushi was one of the best we’ve ever had with fresh fish and a wide array of different rolls. The sushi was also visually extremely appealing. The burgushi was a hit with the 7 year old who is usually a very picky eater. The drinks were really good quality with both the alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Would definitely recommend and will certainly come back again. The service was a tad slow and they didn’t offer the child menu although one exists. Didn’t take away from the overall experience but something to keep in mind. Recommend getting a reservation, but our 90min wait time was actually half that. Great place!"

"First of all i just want to love on our waitress she was amazing incredible all the wows and all the fantastic she made our meal way way better. Now to the food and stuff the appetizers were grand we loved all of them the burgushi was alright it was just an interesting combination of stuff but still something new and decently good. Our burgers unfortunately were sub par. The atmosphere was ok we got a really tall table they did not know we were very tall so that table worked for us but for shorted people it would not have been ok. The colors were eh. And the bathroom was not super cream which was weird cause every bathroom i went into at universal or in city walk was super clean. I guess my beef is that we paid $25 for burgers that were maybe worth $12 but i would go there again and get a bunch of appetizers a hundred percent. Oh and the fried pickles so so so good."

"We went here on a Saturday evening, so it was busy. Friendly waitress and attentive. We were looking for meatless options for fasting (shrimp OK) and were able to find some options. Noodles were OK but needed more flavor. Cocktails were not strong. Would likely return to give another try when we can eat meat and dairy to try the rest of the menu."
