"Nice place for dinner in Union Square area...reservations are highly recommended. Been here a couple of times and both food and service were good. Decor is nice both outside and inside. Many options to choose from from coctails, wine, and food... Don't forget to save room for dessert! Great that they moved the bar to the front when you enter - it opens up the space folks can order a drink vs standing on top of others while waiting for their table. Place was recommended by a friend of mine and I have expanded my list of places to eat along with introducing this place to a couple of other friends...and a few more to come! Complimentary bread to start while you wait for your food.. Appetizers to share: Mussels were good though a little spicy, grilled octopus was very good. Entrees: had the tagliolini (squid ink pasta with clams) - highly recommend as I have already had it twice. Spinach ravioli with mushrooms is also good. Dessert: The panna cotta was delicious!! ordered twice already and once was for bday celebration. They bring out with a candle on the dessert and write Happy Birthday on the plate and sing too! "Went here for the first time 2 days ago. The parking lot and ambience have a little to be desired but no matter, the food and service are the real stars. We were greeted by the cashier who was very kind and helped us pick out and order our food. I got the regular Oxtail meal and my husband got the regular Jerk Chicken meal. Both of them had the Jamaican rice and beans on the side and I ordered the sauteed vegetables and he got the plantains. Both meals were out of this world, phenomenal. The oxtails were so tender and flavorful. The vegetables consisted mainly of cabbage but they were delicious as was the rice. My husband's jerk chicken was also great and I have a hard time deciding which one I liked more. The jerk meal also came with a little side of yellow curry? and a vinegar sauce. I tasted both of them and I loved them both. The plantains were freshly prepared and so yummy. Tip: If you order oxtails, you might want to call your order in ahead as it was quite a wait for them, although worth it in the end. We'll definitely be back. The owner told me the jerk chicken and the oxtails are gluten free (among a few other things) for those who are interested. "From Toronto & in Kissimmee for a wedding & we’re in search of authentic jerk like we have plenty of back home -this place was WAY better than anything we have had back home. The food and flavours were 10000000/10 portion sizes were generous and the customer service was lovely. We are sad to be leaving but will definitely be back here next time we visit!"

"What a lovely little family-owned gem tucked next to the River Congo Golf on 192! If you are looking authentic local fare, this is a must-stop for you! We had the curry chicken with tropical rice and plantains. Very reasonably priced. Oh, the strawberry lemonade is amazing, too."

"They weren’t open til 40 minutes after 12. None of the dishes on the menu were done. When we were able to order we only had the option for brown stew chicken ( our cabbage was replaced with 2 table spoons of a salad) The flavors were pleasant but we asked for chicken and were fed 80% bones instead. I never received my scotch bonnet I requested 3 times. The mango passion punch was good. The presentation looked good but surplus of bones for the price wasn’t fair. Clean establishment and festive. I’d say if your going to display an Olympian on your walls,your business should be Olympic as well."
