"It was very full but we managed to sneak a spot at the counter. The food is fantastic!! The bonus of sitting at the counter is the cook took excellent care of us even when it was so full people were waiting outside. The chips and salsa to start is fresh and delicious. Perfect little hole in the wall stop. Tacos and fajitas were amazing."

"Poblano’s The place is very quaint and the staff is super friendly. I’m a sucker for tortilla chips, and the fact that the chips weren’t fresh was a huge miss. Moving on to drinks, I got the horchata which was very watery. The flavor was there, but you can tell it was watered down. When I think of sopes, I think of a corn flour shell that is thicker than a tortilla with the rim around it. This was pretty much a tostada. I got a carnitas sope and it was good. The carnitas itself have a great burst of flavor, but I still wanted that classic sopes shell. For dessert I indulged in churros. I immediately asked if they were fresh and she confirmed that it was and that they were “super ricos”! They actually were! I highly recommend the churros. Overall, it is a cute “hole in the wall” restaurant with a lot of potential. I personally believe the prices are a little too high for the quality, but the service more than makes up for there shortcomings. I can’t say I’ll be back but I did leave with a full belly. Yes, it is authentic, but lots of room for improvement. Thank you Poblano’s!"
