"Bad customer service! I hate providers that knowingly try to take advantage of a patient. They are trying to charge me $225 for an echocardiogram that my insurance company say the contracted rate is $154.99. If that's not bad enough, I am only a couple hundred dollars away from satisfying my deductible with 3 pending claims that will more than exceed the deductible and they still won't accept only the coinsurance as payment. I even asked how long it will take for me to get a refund of my overpayment and was told at least one month after they receive the explanation of benefits from the insurance company and they will not accept the online copy. Obviously, this is a way to improve their cash flow because they will hold onto my $194 for more than likely 2-3 months when they didn't earn it. Do yourself a favor and find an honest provider to go to."
