"This was a friendly little restaurant. It was unassuming on the outside but crowded on the inside. The staff was super nice and the food was great. We tried the Lakis platter and the eggplant rollatini. The food is fresh and delicious! As a side note almost all entrees come with a small Greek salad. The only thing we didn't care for was the pastisio in the Lakis platter. The dolmades were scrumptious, but the flavor is distinct and may not be for everyone. The eggplant in the rollatini was cooked perfectly! Overall I would recommend this restaurant and will be coming back"
"Stopped by while in Ocala for the World Equestrian Center. I wanted to have Greek food as I haven’t had it in years. Ordered the Lakis sampler platter. Everything was good except we didn’t care for the item wrapped in grape leaves. It had a very strong flavor but that may be normal for grape leaves? Ordered the classic Gyro and found it to be quite good. We both got a small Greek salad and it was tasty with the bits of ham in it. I would have like the platter to be hotter as the inside of the items were kind of cold. Our server was very helpful and very friendly so it made up for anything else!"
