"This place was busy when I stopped in for lunch. There was only one waitress, but she did a phenomenal job keeping up and attended to everyone with minimal delay. Ordered myself the pork katsu bento box. It didn’t disappoint. Will have to come back and try the sushi."
"Roaches, for months, the place must be infested. Food is mediocre but was cheap. Most prices have been increased recently and with the presence of roaches we will never return."
"The best sushi in Ocala, hands down. I have been ordering sushi to go from here for the past few years and I have never been disappointed. I love sushi and have tried it from tons of places in town. No place has sushi as fresh as Akita's. I personally recommend the spicy tuna and salmon rolls, but any of them are great. When I've dined in, the service is impeccable and prompt. You can tell they care about their customers. Highly recommend Akita!"
"A friend of mine suggested we stop at Akita Sushi , very nice and clean location, our server Ella was very friendly and polite, we ordered a glass of Plum wine ,Krab cheese wonton, clear soup ,Beef fried rice and a Volcano Roll it was all very good ."
"My fiancé and I decided to stop in for a quick bite and we’re pleasantly surprised with the service as well as the food. We had the Hwy 75 roll and it was our first time having a deep fried sushi roll and it was sooo good, especially with the soy sauce, it really brought out the flavor. Our main entree was Hibachi Chicken & Scallops and Hibachi Chicken & Steak and the portion sizes were good and filled us both up. The food is great and our waitress was very sweet and attentive, would definitely recommend!"
