"Second time here. Food is AHHMAZING! Had a bit of a hiccup our first time and food took over an hour. Stuff happens. Food did not disappoint and the 2nd time was perfect! Wonderful margaritas too. I see they have live music on the patio Wednesday nights. I'll be back for happy hour!"

"Update: came here a second time a few months later with seven people. Had a fantastic time. Food was good, service was great, and the atmosphere was fun. Will be coming again. Though the corn could be better. Lol Very nice atmosphere, and there was even live music. Almost worth it to go just to have a few drinks and socialize. Unfortunately as a restaurant, they are misfiring and way overstaffed. I came in on a Saturday night right around 6pm. They had 3-4 hostesses, and one sat me. I proceeded to wait 20 minutes before my server finally came to take my drink order. During which the 3 hostesses were standing around doing nothing. They saw me sitting there for 20 minutes with no server, no drinks, and didn’t do anything. Maybe take some initiative? Most of servers were also hiding behind the hostess stand next to the bar, not doing anything either, so it was extra frustrating that I didn’t get waited on. I was almost ready to leave when my server finally came. I ordered my drinks and food, and she came back promptly with my drinks. Unfortunately it was another 25 minutes before she returned with my food. She never checked on me in between, and I sat there with empty glasses. When the food finally did come, it was good. But not $24 for carne asada good. The steak was juicy, and flavorful, but the rice was bland, and the street corn was rubbery and chewy. Oh, another 20 minutes for her to come back and get my check. I will probably return with friends to hangout and drink, but as a restaurant, they need to work out the kinks, and improve upon their service and food."

"Beautiful restaurant with very nice holiday decor displayed everywhere. We went for a light snack and tried their Happy Hour specials that are offered only in the bar area (Monday thru Friday 4-7pm). We were served chips and salsa immediately. The chips were very good (not greasy and not too salty) and the salsa, it was amazing. I was a bit skeptical because the salsa was on the darker brown side but it had so much flavor. Definitely one of the very best homemade salsas in any restaurant I have eaten at. We ordered the chicken quesadilla, they were HUGE for $6. We also had the queso, OMG!!!! definitely the VERY BEST with the right amount of flavor for $5. The portion size was great as well! We wanted to try the chicken nachos. We love nachos!!!! We didn’t realize that it was 4 chips with seasoning, cheese and the toppings, we were thinking it was chips piled on each other and layered with the items, my bad. We opted for the other toppings that are usually on there because we are picky. Therefore we got 4 chips with melted cheese and a piece of chicken on each chip for $6. The looks of the alcoholic beverages being made at the bar were definitely made with love; beautiful presentation on the few drinks that we saw being served. We will definitely go back with an appetite because everything on the menu looks to be amazing and we want to try a few other dishes."

"Had to check out this place everyone is talking about. Overall really good. My only negatives were the music is a little loud to have conversation at your table which in turn makes everyone talk louder. Margarita was served in a rocks glass. I had a watermelon margarita so the sugar rim gets on the glass and makes your hands sticky. It needs to be served in the appropriate glass. Also the proportion is small has a rocks glass is meant to serve whiskey or equivalent Liquor on the rocks. The street corn that was served with one of the entrees was very overcooked and the corn was rubbery so that was a little disappointing. I had the blue crab and shrimp enchiladas in the Serrano pesto cream and they were absolutely heavenly but they're served with a choice of beans and rice. I had black beans and the cilantro lime rice which were also delicious however did not pair well with the enchiladas. They would be better served with carnitas and a different lighter flavored side with the sweet Seafood that was in the enchiladas. We also order the tamales which were excellent and the chips and salsa that are served at the beginning were also very good. We will definitely be back."
