"I ordered a steak dinner last time. Very tough and chewy meat. Figured I'll give them another try since the location is close to my job. Second time, ordered a Cuban sandwich. Not impressed. Mosty just a thin ham sandwich. Not what you expect from a Cuban restaurant. Also for $10, doesn't even come with fries or any sides."

"one year follow up original below. This place continues to be a go to stop for me and has been consitent in quality for this entire time. They have expanded the dining room and its nearly ready to open. Very excited for them and i just wanted to update and advise its still 5 stars.////// OLD REVIEW:I've lived in the area for nearly 2 years but I have been missing out on this gem. It's worth taking some side streets or different routes around town and finding this gem in a mostly empty strip mall. I donate plasma two spaces down twice a week and this is my little reward after. All of the sandwiches are amazing and crispy with their press getting a lot of work all day. I also feel they have the best empanadas in a wide area. The dough is crisp and crumbly without being dry. I implore anyone that reads this to stop in any day of the week and try a machito sandwich or. Make a trip on Friday to have their special oxtail, it's amazing."

"Any day/time I can get Cuban food is a good day. This little place (only because it’s expanding so the wall was moved to help the construction process) was down to earth with friendly service. We were passing through but the service made us feel like we were part of the family. Authentic Cuban food and vibe. The only bummer was no croquetas…maybe next time. The Cuban sandwich was tasty. Good chicken soup and papa rellena. Stop in and check it out."

"I went to Cuba for two weeks in 2017. This restaurant is as authentic as it gets. Wow! The Ropa Vieja is to die for. Tastes exactly how I remember and i have been missing ever since. (I recently moved to this state and area). Definitely recommend. Also the banana milkshake is amazing. Keep in mind seating is minimal as the Cafe is small."

"There are so many things about this little family-owned restaurant that I love. Let me start with the coffee. Absolute perfection! Even if I don't stop there for anything else, their coffee gets my day started off on the right foot. Delicious! The Cuban sandwich is a close second for a favorite in my book. But to be honest, from the Cuban-style breakfast to the black beans and rice, I truly struggle to name a favorite when they are all so good."
