"At Steak 'n Shake on Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, the employee who took my order behaved rudely. Claiming to be from corporate, he appeared unfamiliar with how they cook the food and the order-taking process. I ordered a Triple Cheeseburger with fries and a vanilla milkshake for a total cost of $14.10, which seemed high. The burger was excessively greasy and lacked flavor, while the fries were just okay. Unfortunately, my initial vanilla milkshake had an unidentified brown substance; they remade it without the issue, but it still tasted mediocre. The restaurant appeared in need of thorough cleaning; tables seemed hastily wiped, and the slippery floor caused me and a worker to nearly fall. Other patrons shared their dissatisfaction with the self-order kiosk and a worker asking to tip when they placed their own order. "I love this place for a quick lunch. Order from a kiosk and within 10 minutes you're eating your meal. I can't believe more people don't eat here, especially with the price of a meal being so low compared to other fast food joints. The burgers are tasty, the stuff is all fresh, and they use good pickles, which is not common anymore. 5 stars all around. Customer service here is also worth mentioning, they create a great dining atmosphere."

"I’ve gone to this steak and shake off silver springs BLVD by the Walmart, for years. It was closed down for Covid a few years ago but has since reopened. In the past food was good but service not great. This time around ( just today 9/5/23) I got a burger. The girl on the speaker asked what she could make fresh for me. And the burger came out as the freshest hottest burger and fries I’ve ever had at any food drive through. Ever!!!! I recommend this location to anyone and everyone. They are doing it right. Hot fresh and delicious!! As promised. The girl At the window was calm, courteous and very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name!
