"Nice atmosphere but got a wobbly table jammed up against the wall. Had to go get something to put underneath the table leg so I didn't spill my chocolate martini. The martini was good but a little too sweet. The food was delicious and you can tell they use high quality fresh ingredients. Crab cakes come served on top of fried green tomatoes with an orange sauce. There could be less orange sauce as it overpowered the other flavors - it should complement the flavors rather than smother them. After scraping some of the sauce away, it was delicious. Mac and cheese was also better than most but a bit heavy on flour flavor. The top layer has some cheddar but underneath that it was a little bland. Vegetables were fresh and crisp, very good. Honey glazed salmon was excellent. Corn bread was different but very good also.I would definitely try this place again."

"Great place in the heart of downtown Ocala. I found every aspect of this establishment to be fantastic from the quality and taste of the food, the outstanding service and atmosphere. For all you that love a great drink and lounge there is a speak easy, follow the thirsty cobbler Facebook page for some history."
