"I was one of a party of five at Sam’s St. John’s seafood restaurant. We all ordered our meals. I ordered blackened catfish. When my order arrived, I found most of the fish was undercooked. The waitress apologized and took the fish back and put in a fresh order. By the time the waitress brought my food back, the others in my party had finished their meal. It seemed they had been putting other orders ahead of mine. I looked at my fish and it was barely finished cooking again. The waitress said the manager agreed to discount my meal for the trouble. When I went to pay our ticket, my meal was not discounted at all. We will not return due to lack of diligence on the part of the cook for not ensuring the fish was done cooking and the manager for not ensuring customer satisfaction. I believe this my first ‘less than five star’ review for any business."
"Great place to get seafood. Nice and polite service, pretty pricey but worth the cost. They even have crab legs which I should honestly try later when I come back here again because for sure the food tasted so good. There wasn't a lot of people there which kinda bummed me out because it deserves some more representation though it's hard to spot the location. But in most cases, everything is nice and neatly placed in its spot with its nice decorations and whatnot. Simple area to eat and great food to eat some nice delicious seafood, definitely one place to go to now and then."
"This little hidden gem is amazing. We were in the mood for fried whole catfish And when we searched for it this place is what came up. When we pulled into the parking lot and seen that it was nestled inside of a strip mall next to Winn-Dixie We were a little hesitant. A great example of why you don't judge a book by its cover. Everything that I seen coming out of the kitchen was amazing. I ate the special of the day while my wife had the whole catfish lunch platter. The hush puppies were the best I have ever eaten. And I will come back just for those. Okay I lie I will come back for everything cuz it is all good. Bobbi was awesome as a server. She was the oldest one there doing twice as much as anybody else. You need to check this place out It is amazing."
"First off, Micky was ahMazing! Service was impeccable. Food was cooked to absolute perfection. The restrooms are large and clean. The restaurant was clean and decorated in a seafood medley. We will definitely return any tone we’re in this area."
