"Eh it's fine. I've experienced many situations where some teachers would play favourites. And once you are done with all the younger grades like 2nd kids will start acting.... bad. They curse and make fun of other people but I totally don't blame the school for this. Over time, i noticed that the teachers that teach for 1st and 2nd grade are a bit stricter then the ones that teach for 3rd and up, but I fell as if they act like this only because they don't want to act to sweet to the point where the kids think and act like they can do whatever they want, which I totally agree with. And u shouldn't really make your kids take the bus. The bus drivers that take the kids near university mall to school are WAY TO STRICT! They yell at innocent children, and the older kids are somtimes out of control. Over all, I give it a 3 star rating because i feel that anything more or anything less then 3, would be an under or over statement."
"This school in general is in a great area! Me and my son moved here from Delaware and I was scared to death to put my son in kindergarten in a area I was unfirmlar with, but it is one of the best decisions I made for my son and myself! His transistion was a breeze for the most part and I cannot say enough good things about the principle Mrs.Holt, I've never experienced such an involved principle in my life. She knew my child's name the first week and hasn't forgotten it since, she speaks to all the kids every morning and make sure she says good morning to every last student who passes by her even if she is in a conversation with someone else & ive also watched her console a child who was upset. She is amazing, she even participated and joined the children's movie night at the school which I thought that was awesome! Every school needs a principle like her."
"Top notch School. The Principal, Ms. Holt, is amazing. She's really turned the school around. Every level is excellent from ELP, ESE, to Gifted. Our children love HG Elementary. They deliver consistent results in a positive learning environment. Professional best describes Ms. Holt. No politics, no bullying, no favorites. Every child is valued and included now."
