"We are on our third or fourth trip to Port Saint Joe. Our first time visiting the business here. We just love the place. Came up here from Central Florida originally from South Georgia. Our family owned a small barbecue place in Georgia for years back in the 70s. So we thought we knew Barbeque. But we came into Mike’s place here, and found out that there is a lot to learn, this may be some of the best barbecue we have ever had and one of the best places we have found in this part of the panhandle. You simply have to come and experience their food, hospitality and dedication to their business. Sherman."

"Oh my gosh! It’s the best. Although there are a lot reasons to visit PSJ. Sparks is now one of those reasons. I had ribs and my husband had sliced Pork, sausage and brisket. All were spot on. The Brunswick stew was excellent. Purchased extra to take home with us. If you are picky about your BBQ, you will not be disappointed. Variety of sauces for anyone’s taste buds."

"We are so happy to find a barbecue BBQ place that is absolutely delicious. We have been traveling to Panama City, but no more. I ordered the ribs the meat candy and the brisket and everything was some of the best I've ever had. After meeting Mike and Sarah I was really hoping that the food was great, and it absolutely was. Actually looking forward to coming back to get more of the ribs."

"What a great asset to Port St Joe! The smell actually drew us in. We were actually heading to another restaurant next door, and the smell coming from this place convinced us to change our plans! I'm so glad we did! From the friendly greeting as soon as we walked in, to being talked to/treated just like we were family-long time customers. The food is excellent! The baked potato was huge. The photo doesn't accurately show how big it is. I got the loaded one with chicken. Enough toppings so that each bite had something besides plain potato. Even enough left to bring home and have lunch the next day! The husband had the combo plate and said everything was great. He "wasn't disappointed" in changing the original place to eat. He said we would definitely be back, and he would order the same thing with 3 other meats to try it all out. We got a serving of banana pudding to go and had it later that evening. Delicious!"

"My wife and I drove over to see Port St. Joe from St. George Island on a rainy day. Everything about the stop was just right. The brisket sandwich was hefty and delicious, pulled pork likewise. We spent a few minutes rating tailgating locations around the SEC with Mike. Great stop on our anniversary adventure. Thanks for the parting gift Mike!"
