"Visited on 2/14/24 for an early Valentine's Day dinner. We were greeted and seated promptly by the friendly front staff. Waiter was also prompt to arrive and take orders and tell us about the menu. We ordered the Shrimp, artichoke & Spinch dip with chips for an appetizer & my Husband ordered the Shrimp & Grits with Gumbo & I ordered the stuffed Flounder with fries. The appetizer arrived quickly and was hot and very tasty. The food followed shortly after (but not too soon) and it was all fabulous!! The fish was well cooked with a delicious stuffing and cheese sauce, the fries had a very nice crisp edge with a touch of seasoning. The Shrimp & Grits with Gumbo had large shrimp with a very flavorful bed of grits on top of Gumbo, which had a bit of a spice, but not too hot. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service, and although this was our first time here, it won't be our last."
"Flounders has a lot of Boats in the restaurant, very cool. We ate a late lunch there & despite the number of people there we were seated right away. We shared a bottle of Chardonnay with our lunch. My husband got a burger with fries & I had a chicken sandwich with no bun. Both of these were very good. Great service for how busy it was."
"We are so glad Flounder's was recommended to us! Everything was excellent. We got on the wait list and arrived early, which was great because we could enjoy the bars, playground, fire pit, and sitting area. Therion was excellent- he provided fantastic service and even recommended some other places to visit during our stay in town. Our meals were wonderful, and the portions were massive, so we had to take some back with us. Overall outstanding experience and we can't wait to be back!!"
