"We went this past Sunday for Mardi Gras & had a great time. Enjoyed a few Bushwackers & burgers & there was a great live band!"

"This place is always a great place to stop off on a hot day for a regional delight....a bushwacker. Don't forget to get a floater of 151 on top. Trust me on this. Of course, there are drinks for the kids as well. The cheeseburger and onion rings are a big greasy mess of deliciousness, and well worth it. There are a lot of kids and dogs in the water, so be careful pulling in your boat (there is ample boat parking, though). Also, if you come on the right day, you just might have live music. For non-boat owners, you can get here by land if you travel through Josephine. On any given day there is an amalgam of types of people, and people watching is a sport here."

"We usually have a great time here! Bushwackers are some of the best in the area. We did bring our 15lb dog. No signs to not bring them up to the counter to order inside. A lady who wasn't the nicest, told us to remove our dog. I apologized for bringing him as we did not know. Funny that big dogs are walking around and almost going into the kitchen. I go back later and order a cheese pizza and give my phone number to be notified when it's done. Ordered at 3:23pm. No text, so I go back up at 4pm. It's just sitting there. This was the slowest we have ever seen the kitchen so I was so surprised this happened. Pizza was great and the cheeseburgers are also a favorite. Bought two great tshirts as well. We will be back but just disappointed in this trip and the service."

"Hidden gem and local landmark. Friends took us by boat and it was an amazing experience. Best Bushwacker I’ve had. Didn’t eat but the food looked delicious. Lots of sand and shoes are optional. Extremely dog friendly!"

"Pirates Cove is a great place to bring your dogs! They can run and swim and have fun on the dog friendly beach. It isn't super huge but it's big enough for them to have fun. The staff's dogs run off leash everywhere so be prepared for that and make sure you don't bring any unfriendly dogs. They serve food and drinks but didn't have any iced tea which was disappointing and they only serve pizza on weekends. The cheeseburger and fries were good and hot though and they have fountain drinks. Basically it's a place for your dogs to have beach time since it's really difficult to find any beaches that will allow dogs."
