"Welcome to rural Southern hospitality at it's best. Great food, great service, and a uniquely down-home atmosphere. Beverages and dessert included in the price. On the way out, the staff even promised to keep us in their prayers. On the outside wall there's a beautiful painting by a local artist. Not only was the mural signed but the local artist phone number appears for those who wish to contact her. It's a good idea to bring cash. Like so many small businesses in this part of Alabama, their credit card processor extracts a nasty surcharge from the cafe's customer."

"Great buffet! Very casual, down home atmosphere with delicious southern cuisine. Fried chicken was amazing!! They have very limited hours, lunch only, so do not procrastinate!"
"Had to stop, loved the name, it is a famous locals eatery,waiting line for a table. Large buffet changes every day. Friday is Catfish and Fried Chicken both delicious and all the fixings only other thing was a large burger whopper to large to finish. A Diamond in the Rough"
