"The state run "Monopoly" liquor business defies all logic. Their prices are high. All private purchases and business purchases must rout through them. When the business purchases are made through ABC, the business cannot be competitive as only 10% maximum discount is allowed under certain circumstances. ABC sales apparently lose money annually due to facility costs, employee pay and state benefits. This should be privatized to be effective, Which in turn would generate a profit instead of a loss each year and allow true competition as is allowed in most other states. Bureaucracy is not sensible nor profitable."
