"I got my second hole pierced here and two days later it was swollen and completely infected. I had been using ear cleaning on both holes, but it didn't help. I went to piercing pagoda because I friend recommended it and one of the staff there offered to look at the piercing for me to see if they could just change out the earring because they thought it might be the cheaper metal causing the reaction. When she took out the old earring and tried to put in the new one, she found out that the hole piercing was going at almost a 90 degree angle up my ear. It came in one way and went out the back way above that. There hadn't been room for my piercing to be cleaned because the post wasn't long enough for that angle. She told me to go back to Claire's where I had to wait about an hour and a half for the women working there to call her manager because she didn't know how to do a return on the piercing and then they made me go home and get the solution they gave when I got them pierced in order to give me the return. It was obvious that Claire's was at fault but it wasn't acknowledged by them. I got my first holes done at the Claire's in Tallahassee, FL, and they were uneven but never had problems like this. I'd recommend going somewhere that knows that they're doing."
