"The graduation was ok. My granddaughter received her Bachelors in criminal law. We are so proud! It is time for a new Civic Center in Albany, GA. That place is so outdated. I am 66 years old, and my husband is 72. This place was packed, and we had to go completely to the top. He couldn't make it, and I thank God for the young man that helped him. I found a seat for him, and I continued to the very top. Those stairs were as if I was climbing a ladder."
"Graduation Saturday December 9, horrible No handicap accessible for handicap or elderly people. A 70 year old lady stood in line for 1 hour to get in for her great granddaughter graduation the Security Guard turned her away because she had a very small purse with her medicine in it. Which they’re sign said no bags it did not specify bag because women carry purses not bags. That security guard is a heartless man and never needs to be at nobody’s door or gate."
"I work as a part of the production/ management crew that toured through Albany, GA at the Albany Civic Center. After the event, one of my clients and I needed help with directions back to our hotel, just right around the corner. Amanda Simpson was an astounding staff member, as she assured our safety by escorting my client and I back to our hotel. This was indeed helpful, as we did happen to run into a few rowdy concert-goers along our route back to our hotel. Thank you so much for your patronage Officer Simpson!"
