Atlanta Comedy Theater Underground is a premier entertainment venue located at 50 Lower Alabama Street in Atlanta, Georgia. Whether you're looking to plan a girls' night out, birthday celebration, reunion, bachelorette party, office gathering, or holiday event, we have you covered with a variety of entertainment options.
Our comedy club features live stand-up comedy shows, drag brunches, improv performances, murder mysteries, karaoke nights, and dinner theater experiences. You can enjoy a night out with friends, a date night, or a casual evening with coworkers while being entertained by some of the hottest names in comedy.
With a full bar and restaurant on site, you can indulge in delicious food and drinks while laughing the night away. Dress to impress and be prepared for a fun and entertaining evening at our intimate stand-up comedy club.
Please note that there is a two-item minimum per person or a $15 surcharge at your table. Tickets are non-transferable and must be claimed with ID at the box office. Avoid purchasing tickets from third-party sellers as we do not honor them.
Our Atlanta location is the only upscale comedy club in the city with parking and an executive chef menu on weekends. We also offer a Norcross location with seating for 250 patrons and an Underground Atlanta location with seating for 210 patrons.

"The club is very small and was over sold. I was so grateful that everyone did not show up for the 7:00pm show of Shalar King. Device was on point but if a fire broke out none of us would had make it out alive."
"This place is wack. VIP is pointless and the servers are lacking basic common sense. Order two drinks 30 min in advance to get them and just forget about the food. By the time you get it, it’s gummy or trash. Comedians that warm the crowd up are 5/10. Main acts are hilarious."
"Showtime 7pm. Keenan show on 9/13(Darius) server…. We ordered a teriyaki chicken wings. Sent that back to the kitchen. Yuck! Fish taco was salty but edible. The shrimp …ugghhh..everything was salty …heavy salt. Very disappointed. Bad bad kitchen. 750pm… the show has not started. Drinks .sweet/ no liquor.. extra shot $14 tequilla . not good…. That DJ was Good. I hope the show is better than the food."
"Atlantas comedy theater ain’t no joke! I Hit a Great after hours improv show, Urban M’prove Gang’s “Controlled trauma” was awesome! Energy filled, crowd engaged, games and so much fun with laugh after laugh! Was a blast to be witness the performances! Had me on my toes whole time! Definitely going again!"
"This review is mainly for the food. Uhhh I ordered the fish tacos and I thought it would be an easy thing to make but it was a disaster. The fish was so think I could literally snap it in half. There’s no way to even tell what type of fish it is either. I bet the cooks dine even know. There’s hella lettuce and cheese inside the tortilla but there’s only like 10% protein. Absolutely terrible. I talked to someone who said they were a manager and she said she’d get me another one to replace one of the very bad tacos and she never did. Smh. I know she had good intentions but…yea. My server was either new or just an oddball guy. He seemed overwhelmed but was very nice. Restrooms are decent. Seating is ok. Two bigger guys sat in the front row in front of me and almost completely compromised my view. Luckily I was able to find a free chair right next to me to switch over to. Parking was easy when using the main parking garage off of M.L.K. street. Typically pay $20 for 2+ hours. I feel it’s worth it. Safe and protected during your visit."
