"I would make sure before you get to far along to understand their pricing structure first to save both you and them time. I contacted the store yesterday to seek a quote. I was directed to go to their website under "schedule a consultation". I spent time talking to the gentleman, then spent time filling out the online form. Today I received a phone call the following day that the online form did not get all the details I entered. I was asked almost immediately if I wanted to put a down payment to reserve the date... but I hadn't even got a quote yet or went over what our very small event was needing... after discussing exactly what we wanted I was asked for my card information for the "Consultation Fee" which was never disclosed by the initial call, nor is located on the website and was not mentioned till the end of this particular phone call. While it may not have been the intent of the store, it didn't sit well and came across as money hungry. While I understand that they don't want to waste their time... I don't like to waste my time. I wish they would have been upfront about their fees and we would have still moved forward with their services as each person we spoke to seemed very nice.. but asking for a deposit before we discuss our needs and discussing exactly what we wanted and then asking for a fee at the end without disclosure, frankly scared us on what other unexpected items would pop up w/o notice."
