"Pitts Tree Service was hired by the management of my trailer park to trim the trees in our neighborhood. The workers who came to trim the trees did not knock on the door or in any way notify that they would be trimming trees on my lot. They just let themselves in my fence and began work. Eventually they knocked on my back door the first time they came by to ask if I could keep my dog inside. They came to my lot to trim trees twice, and the first time they left a log and small limbs littered in my yard. The second time they came to trim my trees, they trimmed branches above my aluminum shed. When they had finished, I went to observe my shed. There were two holes in the roof of the shed where the roof panels had been pushed down. I contacted the management of my neighborhood and told them about what had happened, assuming they dropped a limb on it. Someone from Pitts Tree Service came by to inspect my shed. After he let himself in my yard and looked through the shed, he knocked on my front door and told me that he didn't think it looked like a limb had fell on it. He said that in his professional opinion, it looked like someone had stepped on it. He also insisted that his workers told him they did not step on the roof of my shed. He suggested that maybe a squirrel jumped on it twice. I was told that unless there was a witness or camera footage of his workers stepping on my roof, they would not take responsibility for the damage. Very unprofessional and unwilling to take responsibility for their mistakes."
