"They came out to fix my ice maker and he was sooo helpful and kind! He let me ask 1000 questions about how I can prevent the problem and went step by step with me through fixing it. Absolutely love this place and these people!"

"B purchased an appliance suite 11 months ago. Was told at the time to ‘call us if you have any problems’. Ice maker stopped working in the fridge so we called. Was told someone would call back. Called again several days later (after not receiving a call back) and was told we are ‘out of their service area but someone would call back’. Called AGAIN 2 days later and were told that we would have t call the manufacturer or someone in Oxford. Disappointed to say the least. They won’t see any of our business again."

"I had heard good things about this business. I had bought a used washer and dryer in the past here with no problem. But this time, I purchased a used dryer, I did three light loads before it stopped. So I contacted them and exchanged it for another used one. Two light loads and this one stopped working. I called to see if I could get someone to take a look at it. She told me he would be out to take a look at it. No one came out so I called again. She said they couldn't give me a time he could be out. I just asked her to come pick it up and refund me the purchase. I was really hoping for better service. I am doing some remodeling and wanted to purchased new appliances for a local merchant instead of a big box store. Unfortunately, this won't be the store I purchase from. I was able to get my money back for the second dryer that didn't work but when I asked when they could be out to pick it up they wouldn't give me a time. It was Monday, I asked for it to be picked up by Wednesday. When it wasn't picked up by Friday, I called them and said it will have to be set outside. They said that would be fine, they weren't going to make a trip here to pick it up unless they were out this way. According to MapQuest I live 11.6 miles from them! Maybe they don't mind broken down appliances sitting in their yard but I certainly do! If you are expecting any kind of customer service, I would not do business with David's Appliance in Centre,Al."

"If you like to wait for 3 weeks not knowing when he will show up, then he is the guy for you. I’ve been told MULTIPLE times that he will be there at this time and date and still no show. Not even a courtesy call! I took off work to meet him at a time we agreed upon. I called his office when he didn’t show, they were rude and said thats not how they work, that setting a time a date is not how they operate. So they expect you to be available at all days of the week at no set time. Sorry, that’s not how life works. I understand house calls can be unpredictable, but all I ask is a courtesy call. I’m still waiting on him 3 weeks later, and all I get is “I’m sorry, I’m to busy”. Very unprofessional and wish there was someone else in Centre to use."

"Bought many appliances here for myself and mother-in-law. The dishwasher we got there stopped working so we took it into be serviced. They had it about 2 months and when we called and asked about it "oh the part we ordered wasn't sent so we need to know if you want to reorder" are you kidding me? Soooo after a month my husband called " no not in yet" my husband just decided to go get the dishwasher. To add insult to injury it had a large deep scratch on the front. Did they offer a new front for it... no not until I called to tell them what I think of their customer service.These people have to be the worst service relations people in all of Alabama."
